Car is a 6spd vette 1991

Right now I use a hotcam with 1:6rrs. I got 12.8@107mph with this combo. I whant more.
I heard good things about the cc306 cam?
With my hotcam I shift at 6000rpm. My engine builder says its cool to reeve more. But im chicken hahah.
Is the cc306 going to make power even higer up in the rpm band?

If I go with the 306cam, should I use 1:5rockers, or should I use my 1:6rockers. If I use 1:6rockers i need new valve springs.

You have a very stout engine and if everything was assembled properly, and BALANCED, it should be able to go to 7500 without any fear. Most of GM high perf cam are made by Crane and relabeled. Give Crane Cams a call, US country code +356-258-6174 or http://www.cranecams.com/ Tell them what you got and what you want to do and they can recommend one of their stock offerings or custom gring a cam to meet your needs. They will also advise on what springs to use. They will need to know your car weight (in lb.). final drive gear ratio, what transmission you are using ( auto or manual ), and all the mods you have done. Also, if you intend to start revving the engine up, you should replace the harmonic damper with one that is SFI approved, this is to protect innocent bystanders in case the damper decides to disintegrate. Also let them know what is the highest octane fuel you can find in your part of the world. Considering all the mods you did you should be runing in the low 12s at about 115. Some fine tuning of your computer is probably needed.

You right, i need some more tuning. The wideband 02 showed a 12.2 on my wot run. A bit to rich..

Its nice to know that you verify what my engine builder say, that with this engine i could reeve abow 6000rpm. I guess i just need to abuse it more :D

It got a new SFI approved damper..
