JRs72RS 02-22-2007, 12:49 AM Am in the process of installing the same dash panel MadMike is referring to. Very nice, highly recommended.
MadMikeZ28 02-22-2007, 01:46 AM I had one of them for my 84.

I used two green LEDs' under the top two gauges for turn signal indicaters and the yellow shift light was for my check engine light.
? so you will replace all the gages with this. Out with old in with new .? Direct bolt up any mods.
Lots of money for me to add oil and tenp.

OK But now I will have to wait until next year for the 12 bolt and 383& 700R:(
No really I only drove the car 20 miles since I bought it. Things will take time. Car now in hibernation.
MadMikeZ28 02-24-2007, 09:48 PM I know about taking time. I had bought my gauges one or two at a time and there was no panel made for them at the time. I held on to them a long time before I found out some one started making the panel. I got the panel and still held on a little longer because I am lazy :D

On order from summit. Big bucks but I like them.

jherl 07-24-2007, 08:40 PM Don't know if I'm too late to reply (just joined tonight), but I replaced my 68 dash with the dash cluster from Covan. I got the mechanical guage set and had no problem installing it. The temp gauge sensor screwed into the manifold next to the thermostat housing and the oil pressure sending tube screwed into a fitting on the back of the manifold behind the distributor.
justincat 11-25-2007, 07:05 PM thinking about the same gauges. did you ever get them. pretty simple install?
SS396 11-26-2007, 09:58 AM Those, or similar, will be going in my 69 in about 2 years when I get to that point in the project. Year1 has a bunch for sale as well, different finishes for the dash and different gauges to put in as well. Too many choices to decide...
BTW I have original 69 gauge pod and gauges if anyone is interested.
Blade 11-26-2007, 10:47 AM pricey they always been
