I have a '67 camaro with a 350 4spd saginaw trans. Can I pull this como out together .I plan on taking the hood off and the fan blade.I want to leave the headers on.Do I pull the trans crossmember out and the shifter than pull it?Thanks

You may be able to pull the motor far enough forward to clear the crossmember then you have to be able to tilt the motor and trans at a steep level to get it out as one unit.

yes you can do it,but go ahead and pull the transmission crossmember you will need it out of the way when you put everything back in,just put a jack under the tranny untill you get the weight of the motor on the hoist.wouldnt be a bad idea to get the radiator out of the way.madmike is right ,you will have to put some angle in it to get it out.

all the above are correct, crossmember out.....stock headers can stay on.........after market headers, take 'em off......it'll go back the same way.....have fun....Jeff

I pulled the front clip off and pulled the motor and tranns as a whole. Yes u have to take the headers off before u can pull everything out!
