its just that it's usually busy over the weekends, and another thing is that alot of people arent interested in the camaro anymore, its all about the rice for these younger guys

Most of us younger guys cant afford a real car like a camaro.... all most kids can afford is cheep rice

Lol... kids to day are lazy.... and don’t even know how to save there money... With mommy and daddy helping them with what every they want and not making the earn it... They don’t know the value of hard earn money... Most kids can buy a 93 Honda for about 1500 in decent sharp nothing wrong with the body.... put a new engine in the car... invert about 5000 in the car all to gather... and have a 13 sec car not bad for a inline 4... Don’t get me wrong I love my camaro good old American muscle but I have passion for any kind of car or truck with speed

my car was 400 bucks when i was 16...and by the time i was 21, it was in the 12s...ALL for about 5g

i know i just brought my camaro for about 1000... its a RS I hope for about 5g its in the 13's but i dont think that ganna happen being the car needs a new engine and trans to make 13's

I think this place is starting to grow, but there is a ton of compitition out there for F-body web sites.

I just joined this site tonight, It doesnt seem there are alot of posts, but maybe soon there will be more... Alot of people my age are just into rice...it seems to be whats 'in'... Its very unfortunate. For 5,000 I bought a Honda Civic (worst mistake ever) Well after it got totalled I said never again, and for 4500 I got my 97 Camaro and I love it.

I think one reason why kids now are into "rice" is because of the fact that you can take a cheap, slow car and spend money on kits and stickers and over sized spoilers to make them look fast. The imports have more mods available to them. More customization. They feel that they can change a lot and be the only one with a car that looks like that. The problem is that the car is ugly... before they do work, after they do work, and especially when they don't paint the parts before they put them on.

I hate how the sports cars have moved from the muscle look to the bubbly look. Example... Chevy getting rid of the Camaros and Firebirds and comming out with the Cobalt.

I agree... The cobalt to me is such a girl car...

the cobalt replaced the cavvy, not the camaro....i would say that, if anything, the GTO replaced the camaro

yea most kids like rice beacuse of the Fast and the Furious movies, and they think by adding some stickers and a huge ass spoiler there honda will run 10's. At my school parking lot there are only 2 camaros(including mine) 1 GT stang and 2 foxbody stangs, everything else is a honda and talons.

I bought a camaro instead of rice, they arent a ton of money but once you begin the work, it never ends. I though all mine needed was brakes and exhaust and paint, that was 1500 ago. Now im 17 and am broke but will have a heck of a ride when its done. Thanks
