Default windshield washer aiming?

I can't seem to figure out how to get my windshield washers to actually spray the glass and not clean over the car. I've used a toothpick to clear any gunk that may have been in/on the squirter and it isn't helping. There is a little bolt looking thing on my left side that will spin with just my fingers. It sits under the actual wiper arm. Here is a link to the picture: http://postimg.org/image/q8hodo8bf/

Has the plastic cowl vent panel, in which it is mounted, lifted away from the glass? If so, that may affect the spray direction. Try gluing the panel down to the glass with some "Household Goop"

Not sure this will work in your car, but in many cars you can aim the spray nozzle by inserting a small pin or needle into the nozzle opening and move the nozzle around till it sprays where you want.

You can't adjust it like the older cars. It's fixed in place unfortunately. Once the trim panel warps, it's out of aim.

What about running some non-corrosive solution through (maybe diluted pinesol).

That is one of the pin retainers that hold the vent panel to the car (nothing to do with the washer nozzles):

So if I glue down the cowl vent panel like you mentioned in a previous comment, that may assist with getting the stream onto my windshield and not spraying above the car?

All I can tell you is that I have the same problem with my 98TA. I noticed my vent panel has lifted about 1/8" from the glass in that area. When i push the panel down, the spray direction is correct. I will be buying some of that "GOOP" stuff today and will try it.

I can say that it isn't flush, that's for sure. Let me know how it works out for you though, I really need a solution haha. (no pun intended.)

Forget about the glue. There's a simpler solution. Just drill a hole in the vent panel at least 3/4 inch from the edge (to avoid the glass) and install a small screw into the metal underneath. You can make one pretty much anywhere its' needed to pull the panel down to the glass. Paint it black or gray to match.
