Default MusicMan's stripe thread

So my vinyl stripes aren't holding up, they're scratched from washing. There's no way to fix them really, say for replace them. So here's the question. I'm staying with the black and silver, but should I go to a satin stripe, or stay gloss?

Detail thread for reference:

I think gloss looks better. And don't you know you're not supposed to use steel wool for washing the car?

rofl

actually what happened was I was in a hurry one night, had a race the next morning. By the time I got the thing loaded, it was dark. So I drove it to the 24hr u-wash thing, and didn't clean the brush out. Yeah, bad move.

Actually I can't lower her yet, still stock height. My back tires are too wide, and despite the lips being rolled, poly bump stops, and strano-bilstein shocks, they still rub just a bit.

Hmm, gloss is pulling ahead in the votes.

What happened to this forum? When I ran a poll like this a year ago, I got many more votes ('cept back then it was debating the color of the stripe). CF just doesn't seem as active as it used to be.
