Default 2001 t-top sail panel coming loose on driver side

Recently I noticed some wind noise on the driver side when I'm going down the road. I thought it was no big deal until it got below freezing the last week and a half and the back edge of the driver side window suddenly became an ac vent. Turns out the sail panel is coming up a bit on the driver side and has become a scoop forcing the cold air in going down the road. Question is how do I get it back down like it's supposed to be. Corvette guy I work with suggested using a syringe to get some gm adhesive in there and using aluminum tape to hold it down while it cures. It makes sense but I just want to be sure before I go messing with it.

I'll get pics if I can this weekend craby. It's the panel that runs from the side, over the top and down the other side. Top runs between my ttops and hatch.

The external panel, not the interior panel?
Body shop should have the right adhesive.
There is an FYI link on this forum about replacement roof panels in a recall.

Actually it's a service bulletin. The only way you could get one dealer replaced was under warranty. The panels are also discontinued and the only new ones I've found are 700 for fiberglass and 800 for cf from 6LE. Way overpriced for a chunk of fiberglass. I'll just have to figure out how to cover up the bubbles once I get it fixed. Trying to track down a polyurethane cover like this guy on youtube had.

Go to the junk yard and pull one off a lt1 body style car, they had the better sail panels IIRC

Socom, I might attempt this over the summer when it starts hitting over 100 outside. The Texas sun is sure to make the adhesive easier to work loose.
