Default Problem with my 2000 camaro

This is my first post, so excuse me if i sound kinda stupid. I have had my 2000 camaro v-6 manual for about a year now, love the car, but when I am going above about 30 and put the car in neutral and release the clutch, my RPM's settle down to about 800 like they should, but then they bounce to about 4-500 and back to 800 until i stop. I was wondering if this maybe meant a vacuum leak somewhere, or i do have a hyperchip programmer on it, maybe that is causing the problem? it is not a big deal, i would just rather it not do it.

49ear has the same problem but there is no vacuum leak. You know, you mess with the electronics and shift points, she hunts for idle. You have the rear wheel moving, the car in N, the clutch out, the A/C on, the ECM is going to cut the ignition timing you with the heater on is still the A/C making heat off the pump is all that idle hunt.

OK, so any other time that puppy idles sweet, you do not hang the car in N and coast... Is that the scenario?

Yea, it idles just fine, if i keep the clutch pushed in while i'm coasting it is fine also, only when i am coasting and have the clutch out.

Paz, Im just going to say it. That post was freaking stupid. His car is a manual, as is mine, there are no shift points. It doesnt matter if my a/c is on or not, it does it when it gets hot. I dont know the exact particulars of his, but mine is only affected after its been running for a while, and is at operating temperature.

and lastly, SPEAK ENGLISH
