Evolving Squeal

Evolving Squeal
Hey guys, best forum ever. I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on my issue. 1999 V6 automatic, with a squeal that is getting pretty bad. Sounds like it’s coming from the rear end, it started intermittently when breaking. I checked my brake pads and they are fine. It went away for a while then came back and was doing it during breaking and slow to mid-speed turns. Now it’s doing it at higher speeds in the straights as well. The best thing I can relate the sound to is a fan bearing failing.
I’ve read couple of posts about things like rear-axle bearings, carrier bearings and replacing the two piece drive line with a one-piece, but none of those posts had the squealing they all have ride issues (which I don’t seem to have). Any info would be great, and if you know what a shop should charge for this as I don’t have the room to do the work myself.
Thanks
