Default Change proportion valve for 98-02 rear disc brakes onto 95 3.4L rear drum?

Anyone know if I have to change a proportion valve to add 98-02 rear disc brakes onto my '95 3.4L which currently has rear drums? Any other modifications needed? New Master Cylinder?

Thanks in advance.

The image is of the type I want to add:

I put a 95 Z28 disc rearend in my 99, didnt need to change the valve, but I did go from disc to disc. I am almost positive you should have to.

Do you know what the behavior would be if I did *not* put a new proportioning valve in?

If this helps any, AC Delco lists the same proportioning valve for both rear drum or rear disc, PN 18020589.

from what im told from chevrolet, you dont need too, just make sure your hand brake hooks up to the same spot and everything fits well and goes where its suppose to, but your best thing is to either say **** it and try it or go to a well known chevy shop in your spot and ask them. im about to do the same thing but from what im told you dont need too.
