For getting the parts you may try giving PAW a call. Also there is a link around here for rebuilding the 3.8L, the place that built that engine can prolly give you tips and places for parts to your engine. The porting of the heads and intake should be about the same technique on both engines (it is the same as a V8 porting). I will try to find the link again and post it here for you.

ive been told that the heads off the 3.5 FWD out of a Malibu work good on the 3.4 as for boost are you talking turbo if so ive also been told that this motor wont hold a turbo the 3.4 is the worst engine GM ever made you cant forget that swapping to a 3.8 will allow you more mods but isnt an easy job

with 3500 V6 heads and lower intake manifold, 3400 V6 upper intake manifold, 3.1 V6 pushrods, cam, and a tune, you can get around 230 hp from the 3.4L. I was going to do this to mine, so I did a lot of research (but then I got an LT1 haha). fullthrottlev6.com would be a good resource for you.

idk about your trans question, but I kinda doubt it. Don't take my word for it though.

3.4 are in no way shape or form interchangable with a 3.8. You would need a donor car for the swap just like a V8 plus all the computer issues that come with a OBDII motor in a OBD1 car. Your best bet to to research what WIspartan posted. The factory cast iron 3.4 heads are very limited. Even with the max port and polish you will not get the flow of a 2000 3.4 set of head off a FWD. The 3.5 FWD are a notch better then the 3.4 FWD.

if you have questions feel free to ask me. I did a lot of research on this stuff, so I can answer most of your questions or at least show you where you can find answers.

I got some bad news for you on the SC 3800. If you were planning on doing this with the GTP or SSEI engine it will not fit into our Camaros with out ALOT of mods to get the air in the engine. On these engines the air is taken in through the back of the SC housing which would be mounted against our firewalls. Not sure how the pulleys would be but I imagine that can be made to work. As for aftermarket kits you may be lucky and find a used kit that was bought when they were offered. Most manufacturers do not make the kits any more due to lack of popularity.
