1995 Chevy Camaro 3.4 Fuel pump installation
Hey guys I'm new on the Forum. OK, I was driving my car one day and I noticed it bogged when I tried to give it some gas, so I took it home and just let it sit. The next morning I woke up and tried to start it and well...it didn't, it tried to crank, but no fire. I checked the fuel lines and I'm not getting any fuel squirting out...a little, but I figure thats just excess fuel left over. I have priced fuel pumps and they are like $250. I also priced labor and together they want to charge me $800. I have heard that there is a hatch under the rear seat...or carpet, where you can access the fuel pump for easy installation, is this true or am I just getting my hopes up? because if not that means I have to tear apart the entire rear end and drop the tank. Some one please help me out because this is my only transportation and I need to get it fixed soon. Also by any chance would anyone happen to have a fuel pump for sale? it's a random question, but hey you never know whats out there.
