I hear you on that ,it will be worth it when you get the funds though

 

Thanks. It's not so much the funds but, the health. I like doing most things myself. So right now unless I pay to have it done, not going to get done.

 

I have always hand washed and waxed all of my vehicles. Always. But as mentioned before, times are getting tough. So my wonderful wife bought me my first random orbital polisher. Variable speed and all. Temps were way down today, slight breeze blowing after work so I said what tha heck. Went out and tried it out. Never had one before. Man what a difference. Only spent about 2 hours on it. Still got the passenger side to do. Will get it tomorrow. But it looks like a totally different car now.

looks great ,yes I take pride in waxing mine 2 much ,but a nice low speed buff realy only needs to be done every 5 years ,shines great but does show more little scratches up close ,I need to do mine again soon gets excess wax off ,couse I litterrally have 100 coats over the last 5 years ,I also notice after a low speed buff done right that waxing is so easy I use meguiars cleaner wax in between ,but use 100% about 2 times per year
