LOL....Thanks.
That is indeed one of the reasons I want headers. Make tune ups a lot easier. I had heard of the BBK shorties being a bit of a pain with plugs. But they got to be better than stock.
With the age of my car, all I have to do is the safety inspection. Just the horn, wipers and such. Just want to keep it with the smog stuff (if possible) just for resale value later on down the road.

I love the looks of the Kooks. They are a bit pricey but I will only be buying them once. So what the heck. If only they were for a 93.. I have heard a lot of stories about hitting the steering knuckle. That is why I am searching and asking soo many questions about headers

Well as with anyone who has owned a 4th gen camaro long enough has done. Yesterday was my day. Stopped by my local Napa store and picked them up. Will not bore you with the photos as they have been done numerous times. Was not that hard at all. Only thing that actually made it not fun was I have been diagnosed with severe tendonitis in both my knees . So it makes it quite painful right now to stand much less crawl around on the ground. But I got'er done.
Anyhow, both windows now go up and down like new.

what I wonder is what state you live in ,hear in NH like after 15 years all cars fall exsempt from emission control so nothing but straight pipe even if I still had the lt1 ,2 into one then back 2 is holding back a lot of power I now know an feel every time I run mine with the lt1 all I got to was sound difference louder, with mine the shortys run into the steering ,my project would have gone better with a 93 ,now totally unrestricted power with lt1 headers = y pipe straight out, sounds like a race car

Thanks. It does not have to pass anything but the safety test here (NC) . But for resale value, people like a car that has not been heavily modified. So if I can keep it with everything , I would like to do so.

pasetter long tubes have a spot for the 02 sensor, the ones I got have 3 inch outlets ,an long tubes I hear are better ,most guys I know buying a used street car or sports car ,would love knowing they don't have to put the true duals already in it ,$250.00 for the black ones ,the drivers side one had the tube going over the top for the steering link, with mine we just took out all the plugs an got 90 degree plug wires with a 4 piece wire looms that keep them away ,,there is no doubt just doing headers are much better then the old manifolds ,mine 3 to 2.5in coupler to 2,5 pipes, single chamber mufflers ,about the simplest set up I seen since the 70s ,then gain ,I now have 95 with 1970s components ,but many guys with lt1 have a very similar set up to mine ,4 hangers ,for me I don't plan on resale unless it an offer I could not refuse ,to each there own I gues some guys don't even want or care how much power there cars has ,resale for me is how much someone wants it ,an it will be a long time before 4 gens have much value ,other then like ss models an a few others

I do indeed still have it. With the health issues, everything has been put on hold. Unless I pay for things done, I can no longer do them myself right now. I keep hoping though
