I'd run without a belt before I sprayed that stuff on. It makes a mess, makes the belt sticky, and it only masks the problem. I'm thinking it's the a/c bypass pulley. I took the belt off and wiggled all the pulleys and it had some slop, so I added a washer to help put pressure on it and the squeak has lessened significantly.

I'm not gonna mess with it too much more. I'm gonna get another accessory bracket and try and design a way to eliminate the a/c bypass so the crank only has to turn the alternator and power steering.

Yeah she did a number on it. I'm thinking either I didn't have the joint centered or the straps were weak.

Didn't have the u joint seated all the way and snapped the straps going about 50mph. Wasn't a good day. When I switch to the 8.5 I'm going to go with u-bolts instead of u-straps.

I still need wheels. I'm gonna put the chrome one's off the black one I bought on this one for now and repaint the salad shooters black or silver to go on the black one for when I sell it.
