Default '93 Camaro Project

I recentlt baught a 93 Camaro off a family memeber, the only problem is , it was involved in an accident. I am looking to restore it this summer on a budget. The parts i need (Bumpers, Air bags, Fender, Headlights, Grille.) they are hard to find. Does anyone know where i could get some of thease parts without draining the bank?

be patient and keep your eyes open for 93-97 being parted out. also make sure the frame is not bent. pretty easy to bend up these unabody frames.

I will, however it was a pretty light crash. The other car essentially just ripped the bumper and stuff off.

Air bag went that sounds bad enough could have bent a horn on the frame ,only way to know is to take off all the parts that need replaceing,i had to tweak a horn with no air bag Deploy on my 95.local junk yard may have what you need ,the bumpers are not that exspencive if you just want to pass inspection ,you can buy the outer bumper for like $85.00 unpainted ,otherwise you will want to find like said a parts car ,craigs list ,ebay sometimes ,but the best deal would be a car of the same color being parted out ,you may also need the inner impact bumper absorber there cheap too that is attached to the horns ,then you will know if there is frame damage ,post pictures after you get the bumper cover off

I will have someone look at it. And I plan to paint the car afterwards anyways so the color isn't important to me. I'd rather get unpainted so I don't have to strip anything

i found all i needed on ebay ,mostly but mine was worse i did the whole front end ,? is your hood good, you get into painting then your talking alot more money ,thats why a parts car the same color is the best bet like craby said ,is it a zs8 or base model car ,you could be looking at $1500.00 or more when you add someone to paint it ,for a car like that same color if you can find one would be like mabey $500.00 then you got the whole front end,so far you said front bumper fender ,that will be 700.00.for paint alone, unless your doing all the work yourself ,so for now ,put it on some ramps or jack stands . take the under plactic off .from there carefully take the other parts off that need to be replaced is the easy part, then you can see what you got ,mine was just enough that it got the bumper cover pass fender an inner bumper an my hood only part was still good was the driver fender on mine just bearly got my hood ,so i desided to do a 98-02 look ,but first step get it torn down an post pictures, you can allways get it out back together then get it painted down the road ,if you find its worth it ? miles on the car base model for 93 ,again post some pictures when you get it torn down
