Default 93 Camaro lt1 Build, Craby's

got a major part in the build today. heads came back. first two pics are before. the rest are after lloyd was done. should get the intake back in the next day or two. got the 223/230 .565 cam, the stainless comp cam roller rockers, .0028 head gaskets, new stock oil pump, new head bolts, new main bearings, a few things like a new waterpump driveshaft, oil pump driveshaft and most of the gaskets i need. still need the push rods and lifters and once i get them ill just about be set to start. thinking of useing a 5.5 oil pan but not sure yet.

I'm jealous. This makes me want to do mine but I'm actually starting to look for another 4th gen for a project and this time I"ll probably get an LS1.

well i have just not in a separate thread. i have a new crate lt short block but its been setting for 12 or 13 yrs so i am replacing the main bearings just to be sure they werent damaged by the crank setting so long in one place. should be lookin at close to 400 hp when done. have 30lb injectors to put in and will pick up a 58mm tb to go with it. the motor will not go in till i can afford the exhaust and trans. so far kooks headers and catted y pipe and corsa cat back for exhaust and a raptor level three from patc. im thinkin next summer it should be goin in. then its hope and pray the rear end will hold till i can afford the 12 bolt 373s from spohns.

Hey...this build sounds kinda familiar...le2s, a relatively small cam (mine's smaller. ), sprung for the intake/tb as well even though most people will tell you it's a waste 'til you're pushing about 500 horses at the crank....yep...we've got some similarities! haha

Get the flow numbers up! I wanna see how they compare!

soon as i get her up and running ill be goin up to oly and doin the dyno at horsepower connection. lloyd told me to use the 58mm so thats what im doin. i have it tuned for the 50mm tb with the 30lb injectors that are on it now and it did make a difference. not allot but noticable.
