To be perfectly honest, I didn't really pay attention to the oil pressure gauge. I was just too excited that it started and ran!

Here's the video:

I ordered injectors last night. 36# remanufactured Denso/Bosch injectors for $120 shipped.

I also told Livernois that I'm going to get the car tuned elsewhere. The injectors they were trying to sell me were $550, and they said they're 1-2 months out for "special" customers for a tune only. I think I'm going to go with Vector Motorsports.

Before that can get done, here's what's left:

Install BMR torque arm
Install LS1 steering shaft (already reindexed, just gotta get it installed)
eyeball the alignment so it's reasonably close
bleed brakes
top off trans oil level
install strut tower brace
reinstall front bumper and hood
tighten front sway bar endlinks (has to be done once the car is back on the ground and the suspension is loaded)
weld exhaust (had to cut it off for disassembly)

Huh, I guess I haven't updated this thread in a while. I've been working on it slowly but surely. Ran into a few hiccups on the way, but it's closer than ever to being done. All that's left is to weld the exhaust, get the air out of the brake system, and get the tune done.

I need to ask about the brakes. I'm running into the same issue I had before I had to start over 3 years ago. It will hold pressure while the car is off, but once I start it up, the pedal goes to the floor. I bled the ABS block, then the brakes, then the ABS block again. Am I missing something? Do I need to do one of those computer things to cycle the ABS to bleed properly?

you may have to. have you tried a system reset. take both battery cables off and hold together for a minute or two. see if that will reset it. i have read of guys getting away with doing what your doing and guys not and having to take to shop with special scanner controller

yes it clears all the little computers in the system. i guess it drains there tiny batteries. i just dont know if it works on the brakes.

So I hit a little bit of a hiccup this morning. Went to Firestone this morning to get the alignment done, and they discovered that the upper control arms in the front were apparently installed on the wrong side. I felt like an idiot, so I went back to look at the pictures from when the guy I bought the whole front setup took it out of the car. They're on the same side as they were at that point, so apparently he had them in wrong as well. I have to cancel my dyno tune appointment for tomorrow morning, because there's no way I'm driving all the way up there without an alignment.
