Default 1995 3.4 Liter SFI Camaro "patch/rebuild/restore"

Hi, i have a 1995 3.4 liter V6 camaro that i just purchased this year thinking it was in great shape with very low miles. Come to find out its in pretty terrible shape when it comes to the body. most the wheel wells have holes and i don't mean little ones. in the front just behind the battery there is a decent sized hole that i plan on cutting metal out of a fire bird or camaro and welding it into mine to make it solid again. The main reason for this thread is to ask where i could possibly get floor pans for the rear or the car. I have searched and cant find any online to try and order and all the cars i could try and come some out of are rotted away as well. So if anyone has any tips or clues on where i can get floor pans for the car i would greatly appreciate the help. This will be my first ever "restoration" seeing as i have a lot more work than just the holes in the body. Thank you for reading my randomness and also thank you for any information you have on anything. If you care to know what else i have to replace or fix just ask and if you have any tips on how to do that or what parts i can swap please let me know. 93-02 camaros are not rare enough to restore. fix up, replace small parts, replace engine, most times yes. to easy to find another body for cheap.

There are a lot of solid 3.4 bodies going to the crusher because of bad transmission and blown head gaskets. If you really want to patch your car just find someone parting out a car and ask them if you can cut it up a bit. Carful around the back inner fender. There is a frame rail there that is a important structural part of the car and should only be replaced by some that knows frame repair.

A full floor pan is going to run in the ballpark of $1000 and that's from a yard that pulls parts for you, if the dealer even has that part it will be insanely expensive so don't bother with that route. your best bet is a pull it yourself yard. Pick'n'pull charges $150 for them.

Thank you for your reply's. I know i probably sounded stupid asking what i asked and calling it what i called it but i just wanted to make sure trying to find a car for metal was my best option seeing as the two junk yards that are near where i live don't have carmaros or firebirds i can use for metal because they have rotted the same places mine have. The car is my first "project" car so again thank you for your input.

some guys also find what the thickness or gauge of the metal is then buy it from a metal shop cut to size then weld it in place
