Looking for 1 or a pair of Monsoon front door speakers for my 2002 Camaro SS. GM Delco Part# 09370189. Thanks in advance..

 

There are some used ones on eBay. New ones are not available anymore.

 

I learned part isn't available and that specific part on eBay is infrequent. Watching there too. Thx

 

you can put just about any 6,5 inch speaker in there ,make sure the mountint depth.is the same ,they have them on ebay from like 149.00 an as low as 29.00 not going to be new ,accept like one pair ,the .sail speaker is the same 6.5 inch Boss makes a desent speaker for a desent price

 

Just any 6.5 inch speaker will not be the same as the original one. The original Delco door speaker has a 2-Ohm voice-coil. Many generic ones are 3.2 or 4 Ohms and they will not have the same volume as the original. I put some Kappa Infinity 3.2 Ohm "universal impedance" ones in and had to adjust the front/rear balance significantly to hear the fronts; so much, that I searched for and found a used set of the Delco originals and installed those instead. Since then I believe some speaker manufacturers have focused on the 2-Ohm versions heavily.

 

yes the 2 ohms are harder to find seem to cost more too , I have set of pioneers in my 95 work great 2ohms 2.3 inch depth ,cover right up with factory look,they were like 29,95 few years back .the ones I metioned above boss ,makes a kit for like 189.00 includes amp 2 front an 2 sails 2 ohms ,it may have to do with the amp ,a different amp that will switch from 2 to 4 ohms ,I know I need just one on the door blown ,not impossible to find just one used one ,but not a set of new ones,got to buy a set then
