aftermarket automatic shifter question

aftermarket automatic shifter question
I hate the stock top button shifter handle in my 01 v6. What are some good quality comfortable shift handles with a button or maybe even a ratchet shifter setup with gear indicator that requires little or no modification to make work.
Thanks

i second this....all i have found is modifying the shifter handle and putting a manual **** on it but you have to push the whole **** down to disengage it out of park or other gears.
i would love to find a direct fit **** my oem is ripping

Yeah, the leather bound ones are infamous for that. Mines plastic so no peeling issue but it fits your hand like crap. I did find one on amazon made by obx, looked like it was a comfortable shape but it just screams ricer to me. Other option is getting something like one of the nice aluminum hurst pistol grip handles for example and adding a hole and button on top. I think I might try that.

I found some that might work well and look good:

I'm in the car for 15+ hours and 400+ miles per week. I'm thinking of getting both and testing each for a week, that should be more than sufficient. Thoughts?

Here's the before and after for the pilot handle
I haven't driven with it yet but I'll need to put loctite on the 3 screws in the base and where the handle screws onto the base since it screws off easily. Also, when you put one of these on you have to make sure that the button barely touches the plastic piece. If you just set it on and tighten it down it will depress the plastic piece enough to make it where you won't be able to get your keys into the lock position.
