What to look for on a 4th gen

The guy is suppose to be textin me what is wrong with it. Going to look at it around 5.

Is there a difference between a pre 97 and a 97 when it comes to tuning them? Thanks

acually 93-94-95 are all different. 96-97 i believe are tuned the same.

Bumper covers can be had off Ebay for $100 each. Paint isn't too expensive if you stick with stock color. If you change the color and do it right, it gets expensive. '94-97 are tuned using flash base, but '94 I believe is the only one that requires a different cable. '93 is prom based so you gotta swap the chip to tune it.

Mine started out with clear coat chipping and eventually got a new bumper cover and three different paint jobs.

After looking at it cleaned up and test drivin it. I decided to pass. It wa just to far gone for what I was looking for. There wasn't an inch on the car that didn't need somethin fixed.

ya you can do better alot was probley a 500.00 car some people think couse its camaro its worth alot ,a smart buyer knows better ,an they will be there a long time selling it i seen one on ebay go from 5000.00 to an auction sold for 1800.00 was base model needed ac .l ,paint where i live its 300.00 a quart an my fix the paint alone is 900.00 for bumper hood an fender ,so the days of a gallon being 100.00 .dont know ,sometimes you can buy a car cheaper then cost to fix one ,yes i am going to another place for my fix .my .estimate was 2800.00 for the hood fender bumper ,i think i can work a ss hood into that ,auto paint is outrageous hear in newengland

I'd say. I spent $265 a gallon for my Torch Red paint..and red is never cheap in itself.
