So this is what I have vs what other forums say I should have. Is that hole with the Allen key looking bolt where I should put the gauge tube?

yep thats the one. your pressure sensor/switch is at the back of the intake manifold.

So I put this oil pressure gauge in tonight. Revving it in neutral after a cold start I was able to get it just over 40 psi. After warming it up though it didn't seem like it got past 30psi even if I coasted at high rpm. That says bad oil pump right?

Also, the stock gauge now reads as above 80psi at all times. That's normal right?

stock gage is at 80? sounds like your pressure sensor/switch is failing.

It does however have this light come on occasionally. Sometimes for longer periods than other and it seems pretty random. From googling I figure it's the low coolant light but I flushed abd replaced the coolant and have checked several times with no issue in the radiator or reservoir. I'm guessing it's broken like the low oil light that has always been on for my FZ1 with 47K miles on it.
Don't know if it was mentioned ,I did a burn out in my lt1 one time water light came on stayed on an 9 months later I found I had very small gasket leak head now I beat on the engine .no doubt ,went in for AC compressor ,an got a crate engine,my light did flicker to till it just stayed on still does now ,the car was running cold the fans would come on at the wrong time ,it never over heated but got warm ,all the gaskets were going ,watch that light ,mine only .stays on now couse I have gen one engine it it now, when I got my 95 with 69.000 ran great to 99000 then small oil leak ,then could see they were all going the seals but slowly,

It only started doing that after I put in the other gauge.

Also, this gauge doesn't show anything less than 15 psi at idle (1000 rpm) or any other time. It seems a little les responsive than the stock gauge though.
