Default Water in oil but its not a headgasket issue

Ok, after that whole fiasco with changing my intake i have some water left over that got into the engine from the storm that came through a few weeks ago. I went to drive the car today and checked fluids before i took off, it has the super milky tone to it of course. It fires up fine runs fine. Luckly enough i didnt take it on the road before discovering this. I changed the oil with some cheap walmart brand to flush the system, i let it drip for about 30 mins and also changed the filter. I still have some left over water after checking dipstick but not nearly as bad as before. I plan on changing the oil again this weekend since i dont have to drive the car. Any suggestions on what i could do to get the rest of this crap out or is my engine screwed?

well it seems it should have come out if the intake was done right ,?how did water get in your engine from a storm was the engine submerged in water ,yes i would flush an drain it again ,but it should have been gone after new gaskets an oil change an flush ,also could have been head gasket too ? did you replace them all heads an intake 3 gaskets ,on my 95 it was a head gasket not the instake ,but had i choose to do it i would have done them all,i would not run it at all till you figure out if its leaking from a head as well ,like said a good flush an oil change should have been enough ,you may have other issues

Water in the engine is not good because the water will turn to steam and clean oil away the steam can also get trapped and not allow oil to flow correctly. But after saying that chances water will hurt your motor are low as long as you did not drive it hard assuming we are not talking about a lot of water.

Water should steam out of the motor fairly quickly. Now if antifreeze got into you your motor it is most likely shot. Antifreeze will mix with oil and never go away. The high pressure in the oil pump will cause the antifreeze to change into an acid and that acid will wipe out every bearing in the motor.

If you let the car sit the water and oil should separate. You have heard the term water and oil don't mix? When you pull the oil plug you should get water out first then the oil if it stay mixed its not just water.

ill have to keep flushing it. The intake was off during the storm and water dripped through a hole above the wipers and filled up a valve. I havent driven the car at all, all i did was start it to see if it worked after reinstalling the intake. I checked fluid after the first start and thats all i have done. No i didnt replace heads since the issue was a leaking intake, i never had any milky symptoms prior to this. Ill just attempt another flush this weekend, the second check on the oil after the change didnt look nearly as bad as the first time. After this second change i will begin to panic if there is no change.

i went a checked the radiator and there is no mix in that so im pretty sure somthing got stired up with that storm water is all, im hoping

next time you know if your doing it outside 2 cheap tarps one over the engine another over your hood so no water gets anywhere near your engine next time is good idea or one that cover the whole car to is like $20.00
