Well, I dropped ~$1300 for everything.

-Cheap shock tower brace they offer for the v8
-Weld-on boxed subframe connectors
-Their 'lowering spring pack' (springs, LCA relocation bracket, single on-car adjust PHB)
-Non-adjustable LCA w/ poly bushings & associated hardware
-Set of 4 Koni STR.T non-adjustable shocks (the cheaper orange ones)

Hopefully that all will help out with the way it feels. Good shocks alone are the biggest problem, but I figure if I'm doing the springs, might as well just do everything at once while we're underneath it doing the LCA relocation bracket install.
I'm still iffy on the bolt-on LCA bracket, but we'll see. My car won't see NEARLY as much stress as I guess most people here doing their track builds, so it should be fine.
If it fails, it fails and I'll replace it with weld-on later.

your going to be inpressed. if your old ones are close to what you say, any new shock is going to be like night and day, lol, with these you should get fireworks.

Remember, my car jerks the wheel a bit when you hit bumps, floats a little as well. The shocks are basically non-existent as it sits. The tie rods are good, ball joints are good as well. No slop in steering, it's all shocks.

Okay, so my father got everything put in.

Said the rear end makes a little noise now, which I expected with the new gears.

That being said, new harmonic balancer didn't fix the squalling, so it's definitely the belt tensioner assembly. Instead of going with another AC Delco spring tensioner, I grabbed a Katech billet fixed belt tensioner to replace it.
$120 should be well spent, and it even comes in gawdy red! (of course I got that, who wouldn't?)

I understand the extra little peaky-tweaky stuff you have to do with it (occasionally tightening it every 50 miles or so when you have a new belt, loc-tite on the nuts to make sure they won't back out), but I feel it's worthwhile for something that's never going to fail you. This thread here has a good write up on it, even though this is one of the easiest things to install, aside from a strut tower brace.

Performabuilt 'level 2' 4L60e on the way, with an FTI 11" 2800RPM stall converter on the way. Will update on the tranny and converter, tell you guys if there's any good or bad with it.

I just decided on ordering a whole 'nother unit, because I just don't personally feel I can trust any drive component that's in this car as it is. The previous owners obviously didn't care, so I will instead.

sounds like your pretty much replaceing everything but the engine so far ,well atleast you know its done ,should be a keeper for a long time now ,I imagine you have put a lot dough in it by now ,I envy the new goodies under the car though I need front shocks on mine too frame conecters so on ,one thing at a time ,though I wont be lowering mine I have far enough to go down at 6ft4 as is ,just stock stuff is good enough for me ,an like said anything is better then 15 to 20 year old parts
