Default steering wheel

well i wanted to put a firebird wheel in my car with the radio controls... but now im looking at the 5th gen wheels and i think there damn sexy... any chance it will fit on my column

A quick interject, I don't know why you want wheel controls. I got mine put in for the sake of having them and I absolutely never use them.

I parrot him, I have them in my ford explorer and they just sit there. The only time I ever even notice them is when I set cruise control.

ive got the on the 300 and use them all the time there quick and easy... anyways the 5th gen doesnt have them... as far as i know

I would think there is a better chance of the firebird steering wheel fitting than the 5th gen, they didnt make much compatibility between 4th and 5th gens :/

the firebird will deff fit its the same column... really aslond as the splined shaft is the same size the 5th will work... i didnt expect anyone to be like "ya it will work ive tried it" but more hoping someone knows if it bolts up the same way i can always modify it to fit aslong as it bolts up the same...

Hmmm,if you find out shoot me a pm,5TH Gen wheels look alot better than the bulgy 4th gen

i sent the guy thats been posting pics of custom painted interior parts a pm asking if he could shoot me a couple close up pics of the mounting... well see what happens

If I find a steering wheel with radio controls, are the wires there for just a "plug and play"?
