Default Question About 2001-2 values

Hi Gang...I presently own a 95 base Camaro and have decided to upgrade to a 2001-2 Z28. I've just started my search and have no real timetable to purchase. I have noticed though, that what people are generally asking for them is 2 to 3 times their book value. And that seems to be pretty consistent across the country. Are these years more collectable than I realize, or is there some other reason for it? Just curious... As a side question, does anyone use these to pull a popup camper? My wife and I are going to retire in the next couple of years, and are thinking of getting a popup to take some camping trips. It would be cool to pull it, unhook at a campsite, and have a cool vert to tool around in. Any thoughts? The only idea I had was adjustable air shocks for the rear for towing.
Regards...Brucehusker

This is a unibody car, towing is not recommended. For towing you want a frame. Bolting a tow hitch to sheet metal is never a good idea. I realize they make hitch for Camaros I just do not think it is a good idea.

Any LS1 Camaro is going to hold its value more them any other. The motors are really sought after. Ever wrecked one brings decent money.

This is about normal these days for a lower miles non-SS
