no it would only effect the oil pressure gauge. look over all the plugin's you can find. look for damaged wires or wire harnesses.

Man please dont wish that on me i cant deal with another opti issue. Its not bogging bad like it did when my old opti shot. The water pump isnt leaking and i made sure it was sealed and the vent is plugged in to keep it clean. I also replaced that harness too when i installed the new opti. I hooked my scanner up and didnt get any codes but i do have the engine numbers: These are at idle in park.

Min TPS contingency showed up
performance lamp open

IAC:49
MIN IAC:44
ING Volts: 13.0
TPS: .65
map volts: 1.2
map 32.86
maf 8.02

if you downloaded the factory shop manual https://www.mediafire.com/?40mfgeoe4ctti you can find these for your year in it. https://camaroforums.com/forum/lt1-l...-values-68546/

Thanks for this..looks like all the numbers are in range. Only thing I couldn't find info on was "Min TPS Contingency". I recall changing the gas cap about 2 weeks ago to one of those lock ones. I swapped it back to the old one last night and I noticed when I took the locked one off it didn't make the pressurized hiss sound. Today driving was kind of the same it starts to get kind of jumpy/bogging at around 55mph but it accelerates just fine. I checked all the boots on the plugs and those seemed to be secure, im getting another set of wires in this weekend to swap those and hopefully the 02 sensors show up on time as well. I am going to upload some photo screen shots of the scan results in a bit

so wow, i decided to check the fuel pressure again. Its bad to the point im second guessing whether i put the gauge on correctly. I am getting 10psi when i turn the key to on, 30 while running at idle, and 40 when i take the vacuum line off the FPR.....so i guess new pump? I literally did this less than a year ago.... a few years back when i first got the car i had to cut the metal fuel line that goes into the fuel filter since the a hole before me used liquid wrench or something to seal the filter on. I replaced that line with rubber fuel injection hose. Could this play a factor in the pressure?
