title: Please help...discontinued per mechanic: coolant leak into motor is a death sentence

hi, any help would be hugely appreciated:

parts for the below have been discontinued per a san diego calif. auto shop master mechanic / owner when he spoke with GM

he's familiar with dorman auto parts he told me (and probably obviously with ebay auto parts, too)

im freakin out

here is the repair issues and anyone know where a person can get these discontinued parts

he's hunting now and told me to call in about an hour but im sort of freaking out, this amounts to an inevitable death sentence if not repaired:

here's the problem and auto parts that 1 or more have been discontinued:

1) Labor Service- reseal upper intake manifold $209.00
NEW MS93020 INTAKE MANFLD ST / Engine Intake Manifold Qty: 1, Price: $51.56
NEW 130-1750 WATER PUMP / Engine Water Pump Qty: 1, Price: $75.31

2) Labor Service – remove timing cover and reseal. Replace water pump as well if customer desires to pay (parts only for water pump) $712.50

NEW TCS45827 TIMING COVER ST / Engine Timing Cover Gasket Set Qty: 1, Price: $31.31
Parts: $151.18
Labor: $921.50
Subtotal: $1,079.68
Sales Tax: $12.65
Total: $1,092.33

thanx again maybe whoever replies as soon as possible i can pay pal them a tip or small fee to your pay pal address linked to ur paypal email?

a bolt is missing and discontinued

worse case scenario a modification can be made to allow compatibility with my 93 4th gen bolt..

thanks, i'm sure he knows rock auto

he's on the ph with napa

mopar is the place for like a late 60s Plymouth Roadrunner

where there's a will there's a way like a junkyard

discontinued parts are the worst

its the price one pays for owning a car worth owning

anyway,....he will Mod a part to make it work.

so many imports are on the road American car companies (because of a lack of sufficient demand for cars and their autoparts) are really hitting it hard with regard to downsizing what parts they make for cars.

lots of honda and toyota logos all over

I mean this isn't even a classic car it's a 1993

it was an old thread MKcocnuts that someone responed too an needs the same thing .ebay has one used $35.00 make an offer ,,these cars with the 3.4L will be harder an harder to find parts for ,couse they only made them from 93 to 95 an the Demand for parts is getting less,or like said junk yard ,there should be many online salvage yards will have it try Hollanderparts.com just search 94 3.4l camaro an they will come up with tons of different junk yards that will have it ,if you cant find one near you search under timeing cover for 94 camaro3.4l not part #,i have got many good used parts there ,there a hub for 1000s of junk yards ,when you need other parts too ,Not sure where you got that # but theres is # 0396 6 207 ,but you will see pictures of the part in most cases
