Is the starter cranking the engine when you turn the key to the star position?

We need more information to be of much help.

Is this a V6 (3.8L) or a V8 (5.7L) car?

What electrical accessories work now? Lights, instrument panel, radio, locks, etc.

Did they replace just the outer fender or the inner fender as well (the part under the hood)?

Did they replace the radiator and its mounting assembly?

The new parts would need to be painted to match the cars paint or they would look different.

The crash, and resulting crunching of the car, could have pinched or cut a wire. Hard to make a call on what it is over the internet, you or someone knowledgeable with electrical needs to visually go over everything with a fine tooth comb.

Default car wont strt....help!!!!

I have an 00' V6 3.8 base. I actually drove my car around the block before we took the fender & bumper cover off. We did have to put the metal piece tht connects the bumper & fender together & attaches the fog lght cuz it was all bent up. Starters been tested, locksmith came out & said its not the security or my keys...we thght maybe it had something to do with the VATS SYSTEM. Batteries been charged, all fuses are good....???? When we try & strt the car the inside light comes on,it dings cuz the doors open, but no dashlights come on at all.

Did you check to make sure you have no blown fuses, especially the VATS/security one?

We checked the regular fuses in the fuse bx located in the engine, all were good.is there a different fuse tht goes to the VATS? The locksmith said it wasn't tht, also there are no dashlights when trying to strt it. I'm so depressed about this,I've been without my car for over a month & now this. I was scheduled to put her in the paint shop this past Saturday!!! Do you think it could be the fusiable link??

Check for proper operation of these: headlights, hatch release button, radio, outside rear view mirror operation. If those do not work and the "power accy" fuse is ok, you probably have a blown fusible link "E". That is located behind the underhood fuse box #2.

You also have a fuse panel inside the car. Open the drivers side door and remove the cover that's at the end of the dash (the area that would be against the door panel).
