New to forums, new to Camaros, got questions!
Hello all!
Three weeks ago I purchased my 1st Camaro: a 1994 3.4L AT HB. 1-owner, stored in heated garage, with 13600 miles. Looks like new, handles like new, engine runs good, but not like new. When I first got it, it started with the first crank and ran well till 50-60 mph where it started to bog down. After much research I added 5 oz Lucas Oil Fuel Treatment /Injector Cleaner to a full tank hoping to dissolve any tarnish in the lines, injectors, valves, etc. After a few days it wouldn't start without 1st pressing gas pedal to floor. It also started to sometimes idle roughly. I've gone through 3/4 of the treated gas and it still bogs down in OD around 50 mph, sometimes idles rough (missing?), and starts like a flooded engine (can maybe smell fuel in the exhaust?). There have been no SES's and being a 94, Autozone scanner tools probably won't pull any codes. I've been looking into the GaryDoug method...
Although I'll take suggestions on any of the aforementioned issues my main question is to whom shall I take her for service? It's a 22 yr old practically new car. Dealership? Goodyear? My local small shop mechanic?
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can give,
Philip Sr.

if you know of a good dependable mechanic use him. also test fuel pressure. low pressure will cause what you are seeing, lol, so will other things but low pressure will not set code.
