Is my Camaro an Lt4 Camaro?
Hello I own a 97 Camaro SS 30th anniversary, however I believe it is 1 of the 108 cars made with an Lt4.
I have all the requirements that the LT4 cars must have. I just want to know how I can know that I have the Lt4 for sure.
Also I got this information from another forum
I believe I have all of these features except the 330 HP sticker which I think was removed.

they are rare for sure ? does it have the orange stripes white in color it blew away the mustang gt with 215hp ,so stock up to 97 it was the most power Camaro made stock ,its like finding an le1 or a police version of a 4th gen there were just a lot of other versions of the car in the lt1 30th ss as well ,an better in some ways post some pictures of this gem, also it had Artic white leather it also would have said lt4 on the radiator sticker ,most would have had a lot of documentation too with the car ,an would not be cheap ,seen one on ebay $32.000 offer 240 miles looks like a few were in other colors too different years an dealer installed after is 96 rag top ,then there are some who have built the lt1 to the lt4 engine too,the story is that they had engines left over from the corvette ,so desided to do 100 cars for the us I think those were all hard top 6 speeds ,an some were an ss that the lt4 was later put in it or installed by the owner ,those would not have the same value, you should be able to confirm from the dealer that sold it or slp ,with codes an vin as well pics pics ?

Not always a surefire way of telling, but what color is your intake? I think the RPO sticker says LT4 instead of LT1...not sure though. BTW, if you ever go the parts store, and they only list parts for an LT1, rest assured, they will still fit. Just don't give up the heads or block. Heads are slightly better over LT1 and the block is 4 bolt main instead of 2 bolt.
