Default how to take apart 96 drivers door?

driver window has been out of place since i bought it. today when i tried to adjust it a bit, it slid all the way down. i can still roll it up but its not sitting right, and i have to have it slightly down otherwise it will pry up the T-top when i shut the door. i dont want to pay to have a mechanic fix it, and this is a good experience for me to work on the car. but ive never taken off a door b4. is there a site that has instructions for this or pictures. if not then if someone could lead me in the right direction.

thanks

thanks, that helped a lot. i got the door all taken apart. found 2 problems. first was reason why door not opening from outside: a little red clip attached to locking mechanism and door handle broke. went to the dealership and picked up a new one for 2 bucks. second problem is the window isnt attached to the window channel anymore. found out how it came off, the hole that this screw like piece fits into cracked, so the piece connecting it fell out...dealership said 85 bucks for a new channel. anyone know where i can get one for cheaper??

dont get the cheepies. sometimes theres some on ebay but u gotta do a little background on the seller. make sure its a oem and not some funky aftermarket deal. they arent much less on ebay and after shipping its not much at all.

ok. i was going to go with a stock GM part. need to check with my friend that might get a discount on GM parts, but if not sounds like 85 isnt a bad price on that part?

I have had really bad luck with ebay for parts. Alot of the sellers will advertise they are oem chevy parts dealers and then when you get them they are crap parts. Last time I ordered from www.chevyclub.org and was very satisfied. I have also used gm partsdirect but thought there shipping was to high.
