Ok I just saw that someone else is having this same problem but with a V8 and an automatic so I'm starting my own post. Mines a V63800 Stick 99.This morning I started my car like every morning since I've had the car to go to school when I noticed the rpm's were sticking when i pushed the clutch in to slow down to go over a speed bump. So I figured it was cold andIshoulddrive it for a little while and maybeit would stop. So I drove it butit wouldn'tstop reving at whatever rmp's I would shift at. I stopped in a place and turned it off for a sec and then turned it back on and what do you know it stops? I drove home just now and still no problem. The rmps would hold steady at say 2500 where Iwould shiftandit would try to go down but it would bounce between 2300 and 2500 like something was stopping it from going down until I put it in gear and eased off the clutch it would go down but just to accelerate much like having the cruise control on. Which I checked and it was off. I'm puzzled? Anyone have this trouble before?[&:]
