fitment on those are rough plan on puting alot of washers in the nose to not have half inch gap between nose an hood an also possibley triming your hood hinges,,i got a functional one ,i hear duraflex is tough to fit ,for $420.00 Amerihood may be ok ,i got mine painted for $600,00 quality hood bad paint job, but so far its lasted all year, until i can paint the whole car not too bad ,unless your adding ram air from an ss ,its up to you ,ram air does nothing till about 80 mph ,with mine it just lets a bit more air under the hood .for $200,00 you could get a mustang hood scoop painted to your color from like an 09 an make it work on your hood with m3 tape,is it a v8 car or v6 ,i had scoop from rx7 of my 95 hood ,before i did the front end conversion to 98-02 look, that rx7 scoop would be like 100.00 after it painted by a local shop there like $30.00 on ebay

no i bought my hood an fenders nose after an accident desided to go with a different look ,from a place that sells painted parts got the hood nose an fenders for $1600.00 ,the hood was about $600.00 flat rate shipping was 150.00 for all an the parts were good but the paint job not so good ,but for the price a good hood painted would be about $1200.00 so i did ok until i paint the whole car again an from 10 feet way cant tell ,under foresent light the hood has some particals in the paint that one can see in a picture ,it was a hurry up job ,an not sanded very well ,so i would not recomend to to others ,but for the price i was ok with it again until i can paint the whole car it was better then driveing with unpainted parts

Amerihood is more rigid than Duraflex. Look them both up on youtube, Duraflex does flex. Cheesy quality aside, I'd also be concerned about paint cracking on a flexy/bouncy hood. Duaflex also has bad fitment reviews from owners.

yes like i said i did ok ,but you want a good quality hood an i got one ,yes wheels then a hood ,yup about 1000.00 its going to cost min for hood an paint. you can buy zr1 wheels an tires for about $1200.00 was the first thing i did , an even if you install it yourself wich i did,but the over all damage done to my car it came out ok an got the ss look for the same as the old z28 95 look ,but i could have got the hood unpainted for $450.00 it is not flimsy was the + ,when it was a 95 look. i bought a hood for the 96 ss look was 175.00 the hood was worse then duraflex ,an was a throw away hood made for like the race track an from left to right had huge gaps,in the last 5 years they have got better with fitment on desent hoods,i ended up haveing to trash the hood ,but yes amerihood should be fine ,sometimes you can find used ss hoods on ebay or craigs list ,for 3 $400,00 a deal sometimes you can find your color car too, another nice hood is a sunoco
