Engine running hot

Look under the front of the car and see if the air dam is still there. The air dam looks like a spoiler hanging down, and sometimes can get torn off if it gets hung up on something (curb etc), or if a previous owner removed that "useless" piece of plastic. It's purpose is to direct air up and through the radiator while driving, the fan alone will not do the job. If the air dam is missing, that's your problem.

Sorry for the delay in response. Just got back from honeymoon few days ago. I had a new thermostat and housing along with a water pump and radiator cap on. Last couple of days never got to half way which is 210. Today it went over 210 and it was steaming and coming out of the overflow and you could hear it around cap. So now I have no idea what it is now. Maybe temp sensor?

if the coolant level in the radiator is dropping then you either had air in the system or you have a leak. be a good idea to do a pressure test on the cooling system and see if it is leaking and where
