Default bogging problems on 96 camaro

I have a 1996 Camaro that I cannot figure out why its bogging. I changed the fuel filter, spark plugs, wires, and o2 sensors but I still cannot get it to stop bogging. When I accerlate normal it does ok but when I give it gas it bogs and acts like it doesn't want to go, sometimes when I pump the gas it like releases whatever is stuck. Also, when I have it in park and hold the brake down with my foot and give it gas it bogs really bad. I really want some help from you guys this is driving me insane!!!!Thank you for your time, and god bless.

My old 96 had traction control. When a tire is being sensed as slightly breaking free, part of the operation would push the gas pedal back up against your foot, backing off the throttle, and causing the engine to bog big time. Since this annoyed me, and almost got me run over when pulling out on the highway, I always switched mine off. It's the "ASR" button above the center console, below the radio. Is this what you're experiencing perhaps?

If it was my car I would check for codes, check the air cleaner, Fuel pressure test while the bogging it happening and a exhaust back pressure test.

It sound to me like that Cat is starting to plug up.

Second gear start is another form of traction control, and it does just what the name suggests, so make sure you don't have it activated. You have to purposely switch it on, and that will also turn the 2nd gear light on in the dash. I know that feature was available on V6 models, but my Z28 didn't have it. Try to pay attention to your transmission when your car bogs, and watch/feel for the normal 1-2-3-4 shifts. Possibly your SGS is malfunctioning and activating on it's own, which will bog the car down, as designed.

Does it only happen as you start out? Does it bog at 45 MPH? No codes? Fuel pressure is still a possiblity. I would drive it with the MAF sensor disconnected.

I doubt your exhaust system is plugged. I have never seen it, I dont see how it could unless the muffler was full of stuff from the Cat.
