Default 2000 Camaro Help.

Hello, As you can see I am new to the site, and I have a question I would like to hopefully get some help with.

I have a 2000 Chevy Camaro, V-6 and it is a 5-speed. My car was not getting all of the power as it normally should. So, I went down and was informed that it was the EGR valve. Instead of buying a new EGR Valve, I went home, and took it off and cleaned it. I put it back on after I cleaned it, and it was not even dirty. I went for a test drive to see if that had cured my problem, but it had not. So, I went back and had it tested again. The guy at the parts store told me " Just drive the hell out of it," and at this time I knew not too. When I get up to around 45 mph, it just starts jerking. If it is not the Valve, does anyone have any helpful tips on where I may go from here. Thank You in Advance, Scissom

I was at Auto Zone first, and the guy told me that my collant was low and if I added some than it would fix my problem. I have had a day of bad information.

Check Engine = SES -- what are you codes? Many auto part stores will scan it for free.
