Got any pictures? I had tint on mine and it was falling off so I removed it but some reason it left a frosted layer on the window and nothing would work to remove it and I had no option left but to change hatch. So I tryed paint stripper made by klean strip. I brushed the strongest one and left on there for few minute then scraped it off with a plastic razor blade and it worked. It didn't hurt the heater grid on window but it did remove the coating over it.

The stuff will mess anything up it gets on so keep it on glass and wipe anything it gets on as soon as possible. Cover inside the hatch with an old blanket or something. It will burn your skin to.

If your gonna change hatch then take chance with it or try a small spot to see if it works.

It's raining bad here so I can't get a picture right now I'm unsure if it had tint on there or not. I would say it's heavily oxidized, I will try this paint method tho can't spend too much money the dealership sucked me dry already lol
