Default Cant Find a Poly trans Bushing for T56

Whats up with this? I only find the rubber stock type. Are poly trans mounts for a 6 speed not available?

i just read on a couple forums that people are using poly mounts for a turbo 350 trans, they are a direct fit mount.

You do not want poly for your trans, unless you want VIBRATIONS!

Camaro Transmission Mount, Polyurethane, Fits All Transmissions, 1967-2002 - Rick's Camaro Parts
Might want to get feedback from others who have a poly mount with their T56. I put one on my 96 auto and the vibrations were minimal. Certainly the good outweighed the bad, the bad being having to replace the rubber one again. If you have a tendency to jump hard on the throttle off the line and/or shift hard, I'd personally rethink the rubber mount. But, that's me, do what you want.

Thank you.... Thats just the feedback Im looking for..... hence the reason I posted up... Ive seen the type you posted in the link... they dont look like theyll work because the center bolt on mine seems to be offset and not in the center....

How off center is it? That urethane mount has 3 positions for the "center" bolt. What's strange is, looking up applications on rockauto, one brand is the same part number for both auto and manual, another brand has different numbers for each.

If the mount were bolted in, the center bolt would be more toward the back of the car. Its not a left/right centering issue. Like I said, looking at the mount bolted up, it appears this way.... once I remove it, it might be a different story.

Heres a link... See how the center bolt appears farther back than the two mounting holes in the plate? Thats how mine looks... Ill need to pull it out to be 100% sure.
