Default 97 Camaro Odd leak Behind new Water Pump

I just replaced the water pump on my camaro i have a v6 38 series 2.. i cant indentify why its leaking its behind the belt towards the passenger direction of the water pump

i will say its the plastic elbow. its under the alternator and hooks into the belt tensioner.

Ok have u had this problem before? im about to go out here and remove the alternator and see if thats it ... they tried to tell me its the timing chain housing but i didnt believe them i believe that would leak oil if so..

no, its a common issue i have read on here many times. also we just had a guy on here that had a plug on the back of the belt tensioner with a hole in it so have a look at that too. yes its possible that the front cover is leaking. better to find the leak first if you can. you would need to take these things off to get to the front cover anyways.

you were exactly right it was the plastic elbow thanks alot guys! saved me from replacing a timing chain lol
