damn dash-lights !!!!PLEASE HELP!!!!

Default damn dash-lights !!!!PLEASE HELP!!!!

so the dash lights went out on my 95 Ive replace the fuse and the dimmer switch (still turns on interiors) and it still doesn't work any way to rig it so they come on with the headlights i don't care if they dim or not i always keep them bright i also don't care if the switch turns on the interior lights either this is starting to get me a little agitated please help

wish you the best of luck i am having a problem with getting the interior lights to come on fuses are good just not getting power to them for some reason

all my interiors work i took the entire dash apart today took the cluster out thinking somehow every bulb blew all good also if i put the stock radio in and turn the head-lights on the screen goes out and the lights for the heat dont glow either brand new dimmer

u need to get the volt meter out and do some checking to find were the power stops. check at the switch to see if its getting to it and going out from it. to find the right wire u should see a drop and rise in volts to the dash power wire as u turn the dimmer. if the switch is getting and putting out power then u will need to move toward the dash and check for power to the lights there. i would suspect a bad ground so keep your eyes open for any ground junctions that may be rusting or lose.

Double check any connectors for missing or bent pins or broken connections.

Does that cluster have a green colored thin plastic circuit sheet on the back? IDK because I never looked at one on camaros but most vehicles have it. IF so, look at the traces to see if there are some burn marks or tears on it. If so, then you may be looking at replacing the cluster.

if yours is similar to a 93 there should be a fuse in the fuse block for them. i show a 5 amp dimmer fuse at fuse space #13.

its a hard board on the back i checked it out all looks good i changed every fuse in the car except the 5 and 7.5 amp ones bc i didnt have any ill check that out and let you know
