Default Window guide broke off

There is a little black rubber piece that sits in the rail to guide the window up and down. It has broke off from the window rails and I can see it has previously been welded back on. I tried to JB weld it but failed twice.

I was thinking of trying to use nuts and bolts, and use the bolt head in the track.

Any suggestions so I don't have to buy a new window frame?

Of course I could just get it re-welded but don't know any welders.

Are you talking about the felt covered window guide? Get a new one, there are cheap and bolt it in. If you're stock one isn't bolted in then you have bigger problems. Post a pic if you're talking about something else.

This thing: http://htsmall.rickscamaros.com/asse...sku/736261.jpg

The one on mine has no thread, maybe thats why it was welded on. If I could find this part with the thread I could just use washers and a nut to stick it back on as there is a hole with no thread anymore.

Try a junk yard or ebay.

Thanks craby! It's a roller but can't figure out which one in the pic. Mine looks different.

It's the exact same one as the link i posted that attaches to the vertical rail. I found a few on e-bay for $15-$20 (ouch)

That must be a later model thing, I have never seen anything like that in either of my doors and I've been in those things a lot.

I need another one of the rollers also as it broke off my power window's railing recently and i just had the time today to take my door apart and see what was wrong with it exactly.
