1995 t top
Hey guys n gals, I found out in the snow tonight, after I locked my keys in my car, that you cannot push the unlock lock buttons or yank the handle from the outside, and subsequently almost broke my driver window getting a t top off,is there a way to disable this feature?

How would that help if the car is locked with the keys inside?
Hide a spare door key somewhere.
Disabling the 10 minute timer on the Retained Accessory Power feature would allow thieves to steal the car more easily and could run down the battery. You could just wire the door locks to an always hot wire instead of the RAP module.

you can pick up a blank key on the net and have it cut at your local hardware, cost is like 10 bucks. just need to know the ohms on the key bean http://mysecuritypro.com/GeneralMoto...KeyBlanks.aspx

Slim Jim isn't going to help you - too flimsy and no lock button to pull up You wouldn't want to keep it inside the Camaro - what good is it going to be when the Camaro is locked? Just sayin'...
You can get a key made - is it not the door lock and hatch lock the same?
And store the key in a magnetic key box and attach to rear wheel well out of sight or to the tank fill up tube. It will never fall off.
Or duct tape it behind the front bumper cover.
