Hey guys so i'm usually not one to post on forums to much but i figured I'd finally make a build thread now that I've made some progress on my car.
I bought the car in August of 2013 right before i started my senior year, It's an 83 Z28 that still had the crossfire injection that aside from getting terrible gas mileage for only 175hp ran great and never let me down. It was as reliable as a new car. Mileage was unknown but overall the car was in great shape for being 30 years old, no rust, noticeable dents, or missing panels interior or exterior.
As everything that i've done so far pertains to the mechanical side of the car this is how the car looked when i got it in August of 2013 and how it looks now in August of 2015

August 2013
Within two weeks of owning the car a lady managed to pull out of a shopping plaza right in front of me. I was going about 35 when i hit her and ended up with very minimal damage on my car almost not noticeable but was still considered totaled by insurance. After talking to the insurance company they offered me a little over $1900 and for me to keep the car. So not only did i get what i paid for the car back i also made money which meant i was able to start buying parts for a new motor. I don't have pictures of everything before it went together but i had a new short block together in the next few weeks.
