Default 1988 camaro blinkers not working. Advice?

I have recently become the owner of a white 1988 Camaro, V6 version.
This car was bought privately, and I am slowly discovering all sorts of wonderful presents that the previous owner left for me. Shotty wiring, dirty engine compartment, crooked doors, etc.

The most recent problem that has occurred is a complete malfunction of my blinkers. One day while I was driving, I noticed that when I pushed the handle down (to turn the left signal on) I didn't hear any sound or see any flashing on the dash. After further investigation, I discovered that none of the lights were lighting up either.
All of the lights had been working fine up until this point.
My hazard light still works totally fine.

What do you guys think the problem is? Feel free to pepper me with questions if you want/need more information to correctly diagnose my problem. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

Is this defective on both side or just the left side? Does the instrument panel lamp come on (steady)?

If on both sides, check or replace the flasher module mounted to the right of the steering column under the dash (Firebird location, not sure of Camaro location).
If just the one side, change the one bulb that is not lit, or replace the socket there. If that doesn't help, you may have a defective turn signal switch.

Turn signals have their own power, just as emergency flashers and brake lights have their own power source.

Selecting emergency flashers and they work, will tell you wiring and bulbs are good.
If select a turn, and no lights front, rear, and inst cluster, then either no power or poor contacing turn signal switch - lift up on t/sig handle - bushing may have worn out at pivot point of switch.
If lights come on, but no blinkie, bad flasher.
