Default Should I or Should I not?

I am debating on buying this 1985 Chevrolet Camaro Berlinetta Auto, V8. It has 150,000 miles on it and this is what the seller wrote:

85' Chevy Camaro Berlinetta 5.0 Chrome Rims, oversize rear tires, the interior is in excellent condition & overall there is very little rust on the car. Carburator was replaced less than 2 years ago ($700 Repair). The car runs, it does need some work... but well worth it!!! Feel Free to call or email with any questions. $950

What do you guys/gals think?

heck I paid 700 for my z with a 305 HO and it had a supposed bad tranny, rear and had sat for 10 years. less then 200 bucks later runs pretty good so I would say sure take a look and if it looks good and runs then go for it.

Depends on if you have the cash for it and another $1000 plus in your checking account to get it running and insurance. Nothing is cheap about a used 3rd gen car.

i would do it. i paid 700 for mine and it had rust everywhere, needed exhaust, and some minor tune up parts and a few hours of labor. but the car ran great with 170,000 miles on it. now im putting in a different motor.
