Tranny will not bolt up rear will not hold up. If you really want to do it find/wait for a wrecked 87-89 Camaro or firebird with the 350 in it.You shouldswitch the entire driveline and suspentions. Its a lot of work and the resell on the car would not be the greatest. You would be better off using your body partstofix thewrecked Z28.
To switchto a TPI from TBI you will notonly need the tranny/rear but the computer/wiring harnessand the fuel pump/fuel lines.

Just so everyone knows, some of this is false, the rear end is the exact same equipment as installed on the V8 cars. As a matter of fact for many, the v6 rear is preferred, as it has a better rear end ratio, 3:42:1. Also, the t-5 tranny is weaker for the v6 cars, but they do have a t-5 available for the v8 cars it is actually a very easy conversion, the only people i think would have an issue with this would be someone who lacks ingenuity if anyone has any questions feel free to shoot
