Fuel injection. 84' Lc1
Hey! Currently have a 1984 Lc1 v6 camaro with the stock carb set up. Looking to convert to fuel injection as a personal preference. Do you guys have any opinions on good brands? And as a off shoot of this. Would the fuel injection set up off a 95+ Lc1 be able to fit normally on the 84?
Thanks in advance!

84 was the last year for the Lc1. The 95 3.4 is a L32 and there is about 4 version in between. I doubt anything is going to "bolt up" on the intake. Dimensional the blocks are about the same. The L32 will bolt in to a 2.8 car, I think you are going to have issue finding any real info on doing anything with the Lc1. They are right around 100 hp and many spun bearings before they got out of there 36,000 mile warranty. I know because I put in a lot of crank kit under warranty back in the day.
Honestly it will be all or nothing with the 3.4. Either do everything or nothing. The 3.4 is not a great engine compared to modern v6's but is light years ahead of the 2.8 and a very nice upgrade to the 3.1. Tuning will not be as easy on the 95 as it is with the 1996 up PCMs.
What is easiest depends on you and budge but I would think just grabbing some GM parts from a u-pull it lot and a mega squirt ecm system would be the easiest way to go. I believe the first few years of fuel injected S10s had a throttle body that should bolt on.
Course the Holley stand alone with self teaching can be found fairly reasonable.
