camaro wiring problem?help?
i just bought a 89 camaro rs. the car has 360 km on it...motor runs extreamly smooth, and its original. body is in good condtion..except for the underbody...small hole under the drivers seat, wheel wheels are pretty bad as well. My headlights, taillights and interior lights dont work, horn and fuel gauge dont work. Could this be the mainwiring harness?..also do you think it is worth to do the body work to the car?..any estimates on how much it would cost, and if its possible to repair?..need help please asap. Thanks

RE: camaro wiring problem?help?
assuming you checked all the interior fuses. There is a fusable link, most likely on the starter, that sends power to the interior fuse box for the ACC and Tail fuses. The horn also will get power from the ACC fuse. There is also a gauge fuse. Does your volt gauge work? If it does that fuse is good so the problem with the fuel gauge must be in the ground, gauge, sender or wires in between.
Cant say if it is worth doing body work. Don't know what it looks like. Cant give a dollar amount for the same reason and cost varies by area. (West coast to east coast to the great white north)
